An online, free event on YouTube! At this special TEDxWasedaU event, speakers from all fields will collaborate to talk about their stories. Learn about their awe-inspiring journeys and the resilience and discoveries they’ve learnt.

The theme “Eclipse” signifies a focus on the light behind the darkness. And will look at the resilience of humanity in these times of unrest and social change. Speakers include a former Olympic fencer, a mental health professional, an infectious disease expert, a drag performer, an environmental protection activist, and more.

As well as the YouTube live stream, there is also a ZOOM call open afterwards so you can meet the speakers and participants.

This Earl Grey speciality store for Kobe produces a wonderful collection of gelato and sweets, utilising special, natural bergamot in their tea. For the first time ever they will be selling their popular “Fragrant Earl Grey Gelato” and a variety of sweets and tea bags in Tokyo.

Pop-Up Shaved Ice Noan Store – Shinjuku Odakyu

Wednesday 30 June ~ Monday 19 July, 2021

Shaved Ice Shop Noan, in Kugenuma Kaigan, Fujisawa City, is a popular all-year shaved ice store. Their ice is spectacularly fluffy, a high-purity natural ice produced by the Mitsuhoshi Himuro brewery in Nikko.

This is the last weekend to enjoy this event and try the shaved ice in Tokyo so don’t miss out!
The popular flavours are strawberry, mango, green tea, and seasonal items and the menu has been changing each week for a total of 10 different varieties.

The Dinosaur Exhibition 2021 – Tokyo Dome City, Suidobashi

Saturday 10 July ~ Sunday 5 September, 2021

If natural history is more your thing then you’re in for a treat. Dinosaur lovers cannot miss this opportunity to meet the 12-meter-long T-Rex robot. Get close and personal with dinosaurs evolved for over 160 million years. Many dinosaurs at this exhibition are reconstructed whole-body skeletons from the collection of the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum, boasting some of the world’s top dino exhibits and research.
