Cherry Blossoms in Feb!!

By Guidable Writers Mar 1, 2017

Springtime in Japan is nothing less than magical.

From February into early May, you can basically travel from South to North to enjoy the country’s iconic sakura (cherry blossoms) everywhere.

It is not just about the beautiful pink flowers, it is also about the time you will spend under the beautiful trees with your Family, you friends, your lovers, drink some Sake, eat some Sushi, life can’t be better, can it(lol)?

If you live in or around Kanto area, my friends, don’t wait until April for the joyful time, take your car or take advantage of Japanese Railways, let’s go to Kawazu in Feb to enjoy some quality time with your loved ones.

The cherry blossoms in Kawazu, called Kawazuzakura, blooms in the beginning of February, and last until the middle of March(the usual sakura wilts within 2 weeks).

So below are the useful information you might need:
Where is Kawazu:
Kawazu is located in Izu Peninsula, the closest station is: Kawazu Station

If you are driving, you can put the Geocode (34.746965, 138.992591) in your Apple Maps or Google Maps, then the navigation will lead you to the walking path along the river where most people go to see the cherry blossoms.

Or if you need an address, you can put below in your maps, and give the Tourist Information Center a call if you get lost.
