Top 5 Florists In Saitama For Valentine’s Day Flowers

By Nadia Feb 14, 2022

Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching so it’s time to head to your nearest florists! You’ve undoubtedly seen a lot of chocolates in practically every store by now. However, as corny and cliché as it may appear, Valentine’s Day is ultimately a time to honour love and a reminder to express gratitude to loved ones. A day to make the person you care about feel particularly special and treasured.

Valentine’s Day is also significant in Japan. Although not everyone in Japan celebrates it, one could argue that Valentine’s Day is still a major event in Japan. This is notably prevalent amongst middle and high school students, though chocolates are also distributed amongst couples and coworkers in offices.

Traditional Japanese Valentine’s Day celebrations involve giving chocolates to the boy the girl likes as well as to other people who are not romantically interested. However, why don’t you try giving something new to a friend or loved one this year?

Visiting Florists for Valentine’s Day This Year

Japan has many beautiful flower shops you can go to, and they have a lot of varieties of flowers. Here we have listed up the top 5 flower shops you can visit in the Saitama area.

5. Les Fleura Maruhiro (Kawagoe, Saitama)

Located next to the Maruhiro department store, this shop might look small and a bit unnoticeable because of its location. However, it boasts some pretty plants you can take a look at at a more reasonable price. They also have good varieties of fresh flowers and some gorgeous dried flowers. The price might be a bit more expensive compared to stores such as Florist Morita. But you can see different types of flowers from this shop.

4. Suzukiengei Florist (Wakoshi, Saitama)

This cute shop is located in Wakoshi. It is a 3-5 minute walk from Wakoshi station. If you look it up on Google, you’ll see that this shop has a very high rating from many people, and it is true that this shop is an excellent choice!

It might not be that big, but it has many plants, including some rare varieties that may be hard to find in other stores! Moreover, the staff there are also very friendly, so you can ask which flowers to get for Valentine’s Day!

3. Flowershop Florilège (Owada, Saitama)

IThe store is very beautiful and once you enter the shop, you can immediately feel the relaxed atmosphere. This shop has a 5 star rating on Google and is an 8-minute walk from Owada station. If you’d like to buy dried flowers, this might be the best place to get a dried flower bouquet. However, they also have many fresh flowers bouquets, and they usually update the “flowers of the week” on their Instagram, so you can check out their Instagram first before going to the store.

2. Florist Morita (Kawagoe, Saitama)

This is my favourite flower shop and the one I usually visit whenever I need to buy flowers, because of the variation it offers and the price. Aoyama Flower Market may be a little pricey for you, especially if you’re a student, but don’t worry, Florist Morita has cheaper flowers that are all very pretty. If you visit this store, you’ll also see a bunch of discount flowers that you can get.

However, Florist Morita doesn’t only sell flowers, and you can also see plenty of plants from this shop. You can get plenty of plants at a cheaper price as well. I highly recommend you go here if you want to get cheap flowers or are looking for a wide variety of plants.

1. Aoyama Flower Market (Kawagoe, Saitama)

I am pretty sure all you here have seen this famous flower shop. Aoyama Flower Market has many branches all over Japan and I can say this may be one of the best and easiest to find.

Aoyama Flower Market has a good range and wide varieties of pretty flowers. Usually, they have special flowers every season or for special occasions. For Valentine’s Day, they have flowers in red or pink which are very suitable for Valentine’s Day, or you can also customize your own flowers to give to someone special.
