Studio Ghibli – Best Japanese Movies Studio Has Released More Than 400 Free-to-use Images
Earlier this month, Studio Ghibli gently released hundreds of photos of their films to the public without charge.
Ghibli lovers now can comfortably access to 400 photos from eight of the studio’s masterpieces, including From Up On Poppy Hill, Ponyo, Spirited Away, The Tale of Princess Kaguya, The Secret World of Arrietty, Tales From Earthsea, When Marnie Was There, and The Wind Rises.
Ghibli movies are legendary for their spectacular artwork. Thus, this collection is indeed a delightful way to enjoy stills from the movie up close. If you want to use them as your desktop wallpaper, home screen or print them out to decorate your house, the gorgeous collection is full of vibrant, inspiring imagery.
The best part of it? There is also a guarantee that more images will be dropped in the coming days.
The impressive collection was released with a personal note from Toshio Suzuki, a Ghibli producer: “This month, we will provide eight works, mainly new ones, for a total of 400 pieces. Please use it freely within the scope of common sense.”
